Mesothelioma Hope is proud to have advocates like Major Jonathan Nelson (Ret.), a VA-accredited attorney and U.S. Marine Corps veteran with decades of military and legal experience. Major Nelson is passionate about serving others, especially former service members and their families, helping them secure the benefits and resources they need after a mesothelioma diagnosis.

Major Nelson’s commitment to helping mesothelioma patients is based on a personal connection. His wife’s grandfather, a World War II Navy veteran, developed mesothelioma after service. Major Nelson knows firsthand how devastating this cancer can be, and is dedicated to helping families find the support they need.
