Ricky LeBlanc

Managing Attorney, Sokolove Law

Ricky LeBlanc is the Managing Attorney of Sokolove Law and a legal editor for Mesothelioma Hope. He’s spent over 35 years helping mesothelioma patients and families affected by mesothelioma understand their legal rights and pursue compensation from the asbestos companies responsible for their illness.

"It's the sadness, anger, and unfairness of mesothelioma that motivates me to seek justice for my clients every day."

– Ricky LeBlanc

Ricky grew up as the son of a pipefitter and a factory worker, which made him develop a strong belief in standing up for working families. Throughout his legal career, he has focused on helping people who were harmed through no fault of their own, particularly those diagnosed with mesothelioma after years of unknowingly being exposed to asbestos.

As Managing Attorney of Sokolove Law, Ricky oversees the firm’s asbestos practice and has spent decades filing mesothelioma lawsuits, proving asbestos exposure, and helping families understand their legal options. He’s also accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to assist veterans seeking disability benefits for asbestos-related illnesses.

“As a VA-accredited attorney, I’m committed to helping veterans get the resources they need to build the strongest VA claims possible.”

As Mesothelioma Hope’s legal editor, Ricky reviews content related to asbestos litigation, compensation, trust funds, and patients’ legal rights. His goal is to help people better understand their options after a mesothelioma diagnosis and provide trustworthy information that empowers them to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
